Bac Ninh: Building a reading habit in the community.

BAC NINH - The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Plan No. 200/KH-UBND on implementing the program "Promoting lifelong learning activities in libraries, museums, cultural centers, and clubs until 2030" in the province.

Accordingly, developing a reading culture and promoting lifelong learning is identified as an important task, contributing to raising the intellectual level of the population, cultivating human resources, and developing the people of Bac Ninh comprehensively.

The activities will be diverse, tailored to each target group, and linked to digital transformation and the application of information technology in the library sector.

The People's Committees of communes and wards are tasked with developing implementation plans at the local level; organizing lifelong learning activities at cultural centers and community learning centers; and mobilizing the participation of the people and social resources.

In addition, emphasis should be placed on promoting and replicating effective learning models; investing in upgrading facilities and developing library systems and cultural clubs; and promptly commending and rewarding outstanding collectives and individuals.

The synchronized implementation of tasks and solutions in the Plan is expected to create a strong transformation in the development of reading culture, contributing to building a learning society and meeting the requirements of sustainable development of Bac Ninh province in the new period.
