Readers of Lao Cai Newspaper

Over the years, Lao Cai Newspaper has become an important information channel helping readers inside and outside the province to keep up with daily events; it serves as a "bridge" for conveying information between the Party, the State, and the people; and it is a place where people can express their trust, aspirations, suggestions, and recommendations to Party committees and authorities at all levels.

Over the years, Lao Cai Newspaper has closely and actively collaborated with the Lao Cai Border Guard in disseminating information and promoting the activities of the border guard force through various media channels. This has enabled timely communication with the public about the achievements of the border guard force, while also encouraging and motivating officers and soldiers to overcome difficulties and strive to successfully complete their assigned tasks.

Through the press, the image of the border guard force in border areas has been highlighted as the core force, leading the effort to firmly protect national sovereignty and border security, and build strong and comprehensive border areas. In addition, the press has extensively publicized new models and exemplary initiatives in carrying out their duties and accompanying border residents in poverty reduction and socio-economic development; strengthening the fight against various types of crime in border areas, and controlling and maintaining security at border gates… by the border guard force.

In the coming period, I hope that Lao Cai Newspaper will continue to further strengthen its information and propaganda work regarding the border guard forces.

Specifically, research and consideration could be given to coordinating the creation of specialized pages and sections in publications to contribute to the dissemination of information and encourage people in border areas to strictly adhere to the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations, and to participate with the Border Guard forces in protecting border sovereignty and security. In particular, coordination could involve organizing live broadcasts of discussions and seminars on social media platforms to raise awareness among people in border areas about the methods and tactics used by various types of criminals, especially those involved in drug trafficking and human trafficking, so that people in border areas can better comply with the law.

In my work with the Youth Union and Youth Association at the Lao Cai City Youth Union, I regularly pay attention to information about society, youth movements, and changes in people's lives.

In today's information landscape, I still maintain the habit of reading the Lao Cai Newspaper online every day, not only to stay updated on official news, but also to witness the changes in my hometown through each article and image. For me, local journalism is not just a source of information, but also a channel for connecting the community.

However, it must be frankly admitted that the majority of young people today no longer maintain the habit of reading print newspapers or watching television like the previous generation. The rapid development of digital technology has changed the way young people access information; it's now faster, more concise, more visual, and more interactive. We often read news on our phones and social media platforms. A long, text-heavy article is easily overlooked by young people, but a short news item, an engaging video, or visually appealing graphics is much easier to access.

21.jpg

In recent years, Lao Cai Newspaper has undergone many positive changes to keep up with that trend. I am very impressed with the fast, concise news coverage and television reports published on Lao Cai Newspaper's channels and social media platforms, which help the newspaper reach a wider audience, especially young people.

I hope that Lao Cai Newspaper will continue to innovate even more strongly, especially by investing in digital content, producing short videos in line with trends, and increasing interaction through social media platforms. The content of articles should be concise to suit young readers, and presented more in infographic format or other modern journalistic forms to be more attractive and relevant to those with limited time but who still want to receive quick and accurate information.

Working at the grassroots level, I have always recognized that keeping abreast of current events and the political, economic, and social situation in the locality is an inseparable requirement in fulfilling the task of maintaining security and order.

In the multifaceted flow of information, Lao Cai Newspaper is not merely an official news channel of the province, but also a reliable companion and an important bridge that helps me understand and grasp the realities of life better in order to serve the people more effectively.

There were community meetings that lasted until late afternoon, and even after returning to my unit, I still took the time to read the online version of Lao Cai Newspaper to quickly update myself on the latest news of the day. From articles reflecting the timely situation of people's lives and suggestions from people in the highlands, to in-depth analyses of ethnic policies and the work of building new rural areas, I saw reflections of my work in them. In particular, the section I'm most interested in is national defense and security. The news and articles in this section not only reflect the reality of the work of the armed forces, but also suggest many good practices and effective models in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level – things very close to my daily duties.

What I appreciate about Lao Cai Newspaper is its serious approach to journalism. Each article is not only accurate, complete, and timely, but also reflects human values, the voice of the people, especially the vulnerable; it doesn't sugarcoat or present a one-sided view of social life. I always find credibility in each article – something not easily found in this age of rapidly developing social media and the blurring of true and false information.

I hope that Lao Cai Newspaper will introduce more in-depth innovations, such as adding videos, on-site reports, or reflecting more from the grassroots level – where frontline officials are facing new security challenges every day. I also hope that the broadcast time of the newspaper's thematic programs on television will increase, so that people in remote and mountainous areas can more easily access useful and practical information.

In recent years, Lao Cai Newspaper has undergone significant innovation, continuously improving the quality of its journalistic products, especially by developing social media platforms to serve information and propaganda work more promptly and effectively.

In the field of labor and employment, Lao Cai Newspaper has prominently disseminated the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations related to workers and employers in a timely and easily understandable manner.

Through journalistic products, workers in the province have the opportunity to express their thoughts, aspirations, and concerns to all levels and sectors for resolution. This contributes to fostering a sense of respect for and compliance with the law, protecting the legitimate rights of workers, and building a harmonious and progressive working environment.

5.jpg

Looking ahead, I hope that Lao Cai Newspaper will continue to disseminate information more widely about labor and employment, especially on social media platforms, to make it easier for workers to access information and act as a "bridge" between workers and businesses inside and outside the province. In addition, Lao Cai Newspaper should continue to promote labor and production emulation movements, build a cultural life, and create motivation for workers to work diligently and contribute to the development of agencies, units, and businesses.

I regularly follow Lao Cai Newspaper and I clearly feel that it is a close and useful information channel, not only reflecting the social life of the locality, but also spreading many beautiful images of officers and soldiers of the armed forces.

Articles, television and radio programs have truthfully reflected the army's work in mass mobilization, helping the people develop the economy; preventing, combating, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters…

The images of officers and soldiers straining themselves in the rain and floods to search for missing victims and protect people's property have been truthfully and responsibly reflected by Lao Cai Newspaper through its publications and various forms of journalism. This is not just news, but also a motivation and source of pride for officers and soldiers of the armed forces to continue training, dedicating themselves, and excellently fulfilling their assigned tasks.

I hope that in the future, Lao Cai Newspaper will continue to dedicate more time and special sections to deeply and comprehensively reflect on the armed forces, spreading this message to readers so that people understand and have more faith in "Uncle Ho's soldiers".

For many years, I have maintained the habit of reading the newspaper in the morning and following the evening news program of Lao Cai Newspaper every day. I am particularly impressed with the articles and programs on Party building work published by Lao Cai Newspaper. In recent years, there have been more works on the topic of Party building, with rich themes, diverse content, innovative presentation styles, and beautiful image quality. This has attracted the attention of readers and viewers both inside and outside the province.

The works focused on reflecting the province's proactive, creative, and pioneering role in implementing resolutions of Party congresses at all levels; the work of restructuring and organizing the apparatus; Party building from the provincial to the grassroots level; and exemplary models, good practices, and innovative approaches in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.

In particular, the Lao Cai Newspaper has published many in-depth and timely articles combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints or issues of social concern. I find that these works are highly combative, capable of guiding public opinion, persuasive, and have a positive impact on social life.

bc-3.jpg

In the future, I hope that Lao Cai Newspaper will publish more articles on Party building; continue to pay attention to and introduce more exemplary Party branch secretaries or effective methods in Party building at the grassroots and local levels so that we can learn from them, draw lessons, and apply them in carrying out our assigned tasks. In addition, I hope Lao Cai Newspaper will research and develop more journalistic products and platforms for the elderly, both to boost their morale and to promote their role and experience in daily life.

Since accessing the journalistic products of Lao Cai Newspaper, I have found a lot of interesting and meaningful information. Lao Cai Newspaper not only provides timely information on the Party and State's guidelines and policies, but also serves as an important information channel that helps us learn more about production, livestock farming, crop cultivation, and building a new life.

I really enjoy the articles and television reports in Lao Cai Newspaper about cinnamon trees, a crop with high economic value and great potential. Through Lao Cai Newspaper, I learned that cinnamon trees not only provide bark, but also their branches and leaves can be used to distill essential oils, bringing in a significant income. I shared this useful information with the villagers, encouraging households to switch to growing cinnamon. As a result, from having no households growing cinnamon, Cua Cai village now has 50 households, accounting for about 70% of the households in the village. Last year, some households earned over 300 million VND from selling cinnamon.

24.jpg

To bring the Lao Cai Newspaper closer to the people, especially ethnic minorities, I propose that we continue to innovate our presentation style, making articles more concise and using simple, easy-to-understand language that suits the information reception level of people in the highlands.

In addition, it is necessary to increase the use of vivid illustrations. Many elderly people do not read quickly, but with illustrations, it is easier to visualize and understand the content. Furthermore, Lao Cai Newspaper could open more sections to disseminate knowledge on production and livestock farming, and highlight good people and good deeds at the grassroots level, especially in mountainous areas, as these are the most relatable and easily emulated examples for the people.

Hopefully, in the future, Lao Cai Newspaper will continue to develop, serving as a bridge for information, bringing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws to the people, especially in mountainous and disadvantaged areas.

Living and studying in Lao Cai, I'm always interested in the province's daily news. Through my research, I've learned that Lao Cai Newspaper currently operates in various formats, including print, online, television, and radio.

The content produced and published by Lao Cai Newspaper covers many topics related to the lives and activities of young people, from education and entrepreneurship to cultural and sports movements. This is a rich source of information that helps me quickly and accurately update information in the province, thereby finding creative ideas for the school's Youth Union activities.

I hope that Lao Cai Newspaper will have more content specifically for students, such as sharing about studying, career guidance, life skills, and youth psychology, so that Lao Cai Newspaper will always be a close companion of the people in the province, especially the younger generation.
