Ronaldo's character

Four consecutive victories in just two weeks have rekindled Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr's belief that they can win the Saudi Pro League.

In the early hours of January 31st, Al Nassr continued their impressive form in the Saudi Pro League with a 3-0 victory away at Al Kholood in the 18th round of the Saudi Pro League. The visiting team completely dominated, and Ronaldo scored the opening goal early in the second half.

With this result, Al Nassr secured their fourth consecutive victory in just two weeks, narrowing the gap with league leaders Al Hilal to three points.

Just over two weeks ago, after losing 1-3 to Al Hilal in the Saudi Arabian football classic, it seemed as though Al Nassr had no chance of winning the championship. The defeat in what was considered a final left Al Nassr 7 points behind Al Hilal in the title race.

After a brilliant start, coach Jorge Jesus's team went winless for four consecutive matches, allowing their arch-rivals to overtake them. The superstar born in 1985 then left behind a haunting moment with a bitter, helpless smile.

Many believed Al Nassr would once again watch their rivals lift the national championship trophy. However, football is always incredibly unpredictable, and with Al Hilal drawing two consecutive matches in just the past week, the opportunity has returned to Al Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo anh 1

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the opening goal to give Al Nassr a 3-0 victory over Al Kholood in Round 19 of the Saudi Pro League.

Al Nassr returned to their winning ways in mid-month, right after being defeated by Al Hilal. They won four consecutive rounds in the Saudi Pro League, keeping two clean sheets and scoring nine goals. Ronaldo scored two goals in that winning streak, showing his renewed form.

The match against Al Kholood is a clear example. Ronaldo started the game, scoring the opening goal that turned the tide. It's worth remembering that in the first half, Al Kholood played well and nearly caused the visitors to suffer a defeat.

However, at the beginning of the second half, Ronaldo's composure shone through at the right moment, paving the way for an easy victory for his team. Throughout the match against Al Kholood, CR7 touched the ball 25 times, had an 83% pass accuracy, created one key pass, dribbled past an opponent once, and took three shots (two on target).

The website Sofascore rated him 7.7 points, only behind teammate Joao Felix (7.8 points), who shone brightly with two assists in this match. In this season's Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo has 17 goals, ranking second in the top scorer race, only behind Ivan Toney of Al Ahli (18 goals).

Despite facing much criticism since the start of the season, Ronaldo clearly knows how to overcome difficulties to help Al Nassr bounce back. Never underestimate the Portuguese superstar, even though he will turn 41 next month.
