The Vietnam Fatherland Front continues to strengthen its efforts in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative practices.

The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has just issued the Plan for implementing the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena in 2025.

According to the Plan, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will focus on implementing six key areas of work in combating corruption, waste, and negative practices. Of particular note is the strengthening and improvement of the effectiveness of information dissemination, propaganda, and education on combating corruption, waste, and negative practices; persistently building a culture of integrity, free from corruption, waste, and negative practices; and combating the "disease" of fear of responsibility, shirking, and avoidance among cadres, Party members, civil servants, and public employees. The Ho Chi Minh City Command is providing guidance and direction on the organization of local military agencies.

On the afternoon of March 7th, the Party Committee and the Command of Ho Chi Minh City organized a conference to disseminate and provide ideological guidance on the organization of local military agencies in accordance with Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW dated February 14, 2025, of the Politburo, and to implement several related tasks for agencies and units.

At the conference, Major General Vu Van Dien, Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, delivered a speech outlining several key points for understanding and guiding the ideology in organizing local military agencies in accordance with Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW of the Politburo. (See details)

Quang Ngai: Signing of a program to provide free eye examinations and treatment for eye diseases.

On the afternoon of March 7th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province, in coordination with Saigon Medical Group, held a signing ceremony to implement a program providing free eye examinations, treatment, and consultations for the poor and disadvantaged in the province, from 2025 to 2030.

Attending the ceremony were the Vice Chairpersons of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province: Nguyen Xuan Men and Dinh Thi Bac, along with leaders of departments and agencies in the province; and leaders of Saigon Medical Group and Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital. (See details)

Thai Nguyen: Goal to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses before April 30th.

According to Mr. Duong Van Tien, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province, as of March 6, 2025, Thai Nguyen province had completed the construction and repair of 1,363 houses, reaching 91% of the total number of houses in need. The provincial leadership has set a goal to strive to eliminate 100% of eligible temporary and dilapidated houses in the province before April 30, 2025. (See details)
