According to the plan, the consultation aims to receive, synthesize, and explain feedback from organizations, individuals, communities, and relevant units to finalize the planning documents and ensure consistency between the general plans being implemented simultaneously in the province. This is also an opportunity for the Department of Construction to survey and assess the implementation of urban and rural planning at the grassroots level; and to support the resolution of difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
Notably, the Department of Construction will establish 7 working groups with 7 members each, along with the participation of the planning consultancy unit. The core members will be civil servants from the Planning and Architecture Management Department, who will directly work in communes and wards to report on planning documents, provide professional support on urban and rural planning, and guide the operation of the national information system and database on construction activities.
According to the plan, the working groups will conduct visits to various localities throughout the province from June 8th to June 17th. During these meetings, the consulting unit will present the orientation of the Khanh Hoa urban master plan until 2050, with a vision to 2075; participating localities will provide feedback, report difficulties and obstacles in the planning process, and propose solutions to attract investment and develop socio -economic activities in their areas.
The Department of Construction requested localities to prepare the necessary infrastructure and gather difficulties and obstacles related to urban and rural planning to discuss directly with the working groups, thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of planning management and serving the goal of urban development in Khanh Hoa in the new phase.
