DNO - To ensure the quality of telecommunications services and meet the connectivity needs of residents and tourists during the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, telecommunications providers have proactively strengthened infrastructure capacity, maintained equipment, expanded coverage, enhanced user experience, and contributed to the success of the event.

With only a few days left until the official opening of DIFF 2025, the event promises to attract tens of thousands of locals and tourists to the city. To ensure the quality of telecommunications services throughout the festival, network operators have simultaneously implemented various technical solutions such as: increasing the number of mobile base stations, optimizing transmission infrastructure, proactively maintaining the system, and monitoring traffic 24/7.

Beyond ensuring communication and internet access needs, telecommunications service providers are also striving to deliver a stable and seamless connection experience, enhancing the image of the city of events and festivals.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, Deputy Director of MobiFone Service Company Region 3 (managing areas from Quang Tri to Binh Dinh provinces), said that MobiFone has launched a large-scale network upgrade and optimization campaign to ensure the quality of telecommunications services during DIFF 2025, the largest ever.

Accordingly, the broadcasting infrastructure was expanded to 111 BTS stations in the festival area, of which 57 5G stations were installed at key locations such as: Han River Bridge, Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge, APEC Park, September 2nd Square and major streets on Bach Dang, Tran Hung Dao, September 2nd Street...

In addition to fixed base stations, MobiFone has also deployed a series of 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile base stations via mobile vehicles, streetlights, and other flexible solutions. The system is capable of meeting the simultaneous access needs of up to 35,000 users.

“All preparations have been carried out systematically and meticulously, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility. We are committed to providing a fast, stable, and superior connectivity experience for residents and tourists. This is not only an effort to improve service quality but also a testament to our commitment to accompanying customers in the digital age,” Mr. Tuyen said.

Similarly, from May 31st to July 12th, the Da Nang branch of the Military Telecommunications and Industry Corporation ( Viettel Da Nang) deployed 3 mobile units, over 50 temporary base stations, and 11 additional coverage stations with more than 200 diffuse antennas in key areas.

These include: the grandstand, Nhu Nguyet Street, Tran Hung Dao Street, Bach Dang Street, Dragon Bridge, My Khe Beach, East Sea Park, APEC Park area, Bach Dang pedestrian street… with the telecommunications network maximally enhanced to ensure smooth and stable connectivity before, during and after the festival.
