The museum space is divided into three main areas: the Bronze Drum Tower, the Kite Tower, and the Architectural Garden, allowing visitors to learn about the history and culture of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups.
The Bronze Drum Tower is designed to resemble the shape of the Dong Son bronze drum. It houses and showcases numerous artifacts and films about the life, culture, and beliefs of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. The exhibits are categorized into various types such as jewelry, clothing, tools, and weapons, alongside modern projection technology, providing a multi-sensory experience for visitors.

In addition, young audiences will be delighted to visit the water pavilion – where water puppet shows with many special performances are held.
