Protecting consumers online

Vietnam Consumer Rights Day (March 15) is an annual event launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade . The theme for Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2025 is 'Transparent Information - Responsible Consumption'.

The action aims to raise consumer awareness of the risks and increasingly sophisticated fraudulent schemes.

In particular, it supports the business operations of legitimate manufacturing and trading enterprises; while ensuring the basic rights of consumers, especially the right to access information transparently and safely.

Consumers can protect themselves when shopping online by proactively improving their understanding of online information security and cybersecurity, choosing safe shopping platforms and shipping companies, and reporting any signs of fraud to the police immediately for timely action.
