Bao Viet Life Insurance launches the Education Welfare Program 2025

On April 26, 2025, Bao Viet Life Insurance solemnly held a flag-raising ceremony at the Km 0 milestone of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, in the revolutionary homeland of Cao Bang, upholding the spirit of national pride and officially launching its series of social welfare and education activities for 2025.

Nestled amidst the majestic mountains and forests of Cao Bang province in Northeast Vietnam, the Km 0 milestone of the Ho Chi Minh Trail marks the beginning of this legendary route – a vital artery connecting the rear with the front lines, playing a crucial role in the victory of the resistance war against foreign invaders. This place is considered a symbol of the indomitable will, patriotism, and aspiration for independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people. And from this very spot, in the heroic atmosphere of those historic April days, Bao Viet Life Insurance officially launches a series of meaningful activities themed “Vietnamese Spirit” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Through this series of activities, Bao Viet Life Insurance aims to honor sacred historical values, awaken national pride, and instill faith in the future.

At the Km0 milestone square on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, 500 outstanding students representing the youth of Cao Bang province joined in the solemn flag-raising ceremony organized by Bao Viet Life Insurance. The image of the students, along with Bao Viet Life Insurance staff and consultants, under the fluttering red flag with a yellow star in this border region, not only demonstrates patriotism but also represents the continuation of national pride across generations, igniting a strong Vietnamese spirit. Their bright eyes and hands placed on their chests as the national anthem played are testament to a generation rising strongly, ready to move forward and build the future.

As part of the event, Bao Viet Life Insurance and Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper presented 2,000 national flags to the Border Guard Command of Cao Bang province, so that the soldiers could deliver them to the people in the border region, contributing to preserving and affirming the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland through every home adorned with the red flag with a yellow star.

With its sacred and emotional significance, the flag-raising ceremony organized by Bao Viet Life Insurance was awarded a record certificate by the Vietnam Record Organization for " The flag-raising ceremony and singing of the national anthem at the Km0 milestone of the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Cao Bang with the most participating students ".

Continuing its journey of spreading positive values, at the same kilometer 0 milestone on the Ho Chi Minh Highway in Cao Bang province, Bao Viet Life Insurance officially launched the Education Welfare Program 2025. This is an annual activity with a profound humanitarian significance for Bao Viet Life Insurance, aiming to join hands in caring for the future generation and providing better learning conditions for poor but studious students across the country.

In Cao Bang – the starting point of the program – Bao Viet Life Insurance awarded 100 cash scholarships, 100 bicycles, 80 school bags, and 1,000 meaningful gifts to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have strived to excel in their studies. Simultaneously, Bao Viet Life Insurance also donated a youth project in Hop Giang ward, Cao Bang province.
