Hanoi 7 year old girl fell and had a 3 cm long perineal tear, red and inflamed, infected.
The family said the baby had his wound stitched at a medical facility. However, the wound did not heal and the baby had to be transferred to Hanoi Obstetrics Hospital for treatment.
On February 9, Dr. Le Thi Anh Dao - Head of Department of Gynecology and Surgery A5, said that the left vulva had a three-centimeter long tear that did not heal and was red and inflamed. The doctor diagnosed a ruptured perineal suture and required hospitalization.
The team takes care of hygiene, removes the stitches from the perineum, administers antibiotics, then performs surgery to treat the injury and create cosmetic surgery. However, the child is still young, so the doctor must encourage and reassure the child throughout the surgery.
Currently, the wound is not infected and the child's health is stable.

Doctors warn that children are naturally active, curious, and like to explore , so accidents are likely to happen. Parents need to keep an eye on their children, take care of them, supervise them, and create a safe play space for them. Adults should not be subjective, negligent, or leave their children home alone to avoid tragic accidents.
If unfortunately the children have an accident, they should be taken to the emergency room as soon as possible.
