This video shows Ms. Dinh Thi Phuong Anh, a parent of a student at Luong The Vinh Secondary and High School, sharing her wish to be a source of support for her child to do well in the exams:
At the exam center at Yen Hoa High School in Hanoi , Ms. Dinh Thi Phuong Anh and her child arrived quite early. Ms. Phuong Anh waited for her child to complete the procedures and stood outside to assist in case the student forgot anything, as well as to encourage her child.
Ms. Phuong Anh shared: "On the first day of the exam, students made a few mistakes in calculations, so today I especially advised my child to be calmer and more careful when doing the test. I hope the students will have good results in today's exam."
According to observations by reporters from the newspaper Tin Tuc va Dan Toc at many examination centers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, images showed parents bringing their children to the exam from early morning, readily rushing home to retrieve forgotten items, and waiting outside the school gates for their children throughout the exam.
Regardless of the weather, whether it's scorching hot or pouring rain, parents are always there for their children. All parents hope to be a source of emotional support, helping their children feel comfortable and focused on completing their exams, rather than creating pressure about grades or future career paths.
Here are some images depicting the "rhythm of exam season," with a focus on the parents:
