Closing of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam

On the afternoon of January 23, the 14th National Congress of the Party held its closing session, after completing the personnel work and electing the new Central Committee of the Party.

According to Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper and Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the 14th National Congress of the Party received a total of 898 congratulatory messages from 167 political parties, 17 international organizations, 78 individuals, 242 foreign political organizations, friendship organizations, people's organizations and localities, and 394 Vietnamese associations abroad.

These emails and congratulatory messages have positively and comprehensively assessed the role of our Party's leadership and the country's development orientation in the new period, while affirming Vietnam's position and increasingly effective contributions and efforts on the international stage.

Thus, from the opening session until now, the congress has received an additional 339 congratulatory messages from political parties, organizations, international friends, and overseas Vietnamese. These include 58 messages from political parties, 11 messages from international and regional organizations, 62 messages from individuals, 120 messages from overseas people's and local organizations, and 80 messages from overseas Vietnamese associations.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh emphasized that the congratulatory letters and telegrams expressed deep concern, trust, and support, making a significant contribution to the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam . The 14th Central Committee of the Party will, on behalf of the Congress, send letters of thanks to political parties, organizations, international friends, and Vietnamese associations abroad.
