Eghbali admitted: "The changes have clearly affected our performance. We have to find a way to overcome this difficult period."

Following the appointment of Liam Rosenior, Chelsea's situation has not improved significantly. The team has won 11 but lost 8 of their last 21 matches in all competitions, highlighting the major problem of inconsistency.
