Recently, a clip recorded images of 19 dogs left in the yard of an apartment building in District 7 (HCMC) in the hot sun, causing a stir in public opinion. In the clip, the dogs are locked in a cage, surrounded by many household appliances.
Out of pity for the 19 dogs, people living nearby took turns taking care of them and feeding them.

MC Minh Xu - a resident of this apartment building - shared: "Since the evening of March 2, I have seen 3 dogs placed here and many people surrounding them. The dogs still barked at night, but in the morning they stopped barking, probably because they were tired. They are locked in cages in the sun and look very guilty. Fortunately, the residents here helped take care of the dogs, so the dogs were supported."
Another resident said that when she saw the stray dogs in the yard, she and some people living in the apartment took turns taking care of them. They fed the 19 dogs and cleaned the cages. When people see it's sunny, they use things to cover themselves and put their dogs in the shade to avoid the heat.

On the afternoon of April 3, the owner of the 4 dogs - Ms. NP (born 19) - returned to the apartment, then called a car to transport her belongings.
Share with reporters People intellectual, Ms. NP denied abandoning the pets, and emphasized that she loved them very much. The reason she left 19 dogs and furniture under the apartment was because she was "forced to move".
Ms. NP said: “There is no way I mistreat or abandon the dogs, I even love them like my own children. From yesterday until now, I have not been able to take care of the children (19 dogs - PV) because I have to find new homes for them. I would like to thank the residents who helped take care of the dogs while I was away."
Currently, Ms. NP has transferred 19 dogs to a pet care spa in Thu Duc City to stay temporarily for 1 week. At the same time, she said she had found a new place to rent, so she returned to the apartment to move her belongings.

Ms. NP said that for the past 3 months, she and her 19 dogs have lived in an apartment in this apartment building under a rental contract through a broker. During the time she lived here, the apartment owner reported that her dog was causing noise that affected other households. After many failed negotiations, the homeowner did not want to let her continue renting the house, so the contract was terminated.
According to the owner of 19 dogs, the apartment management board repeatedly complained and forced her to write a commitment: "When the dog barks, the water will be turned off." She also asked the Management Board to give her more time to move but received no support.
“They completely cut off the water to my apartment since the beginning of March, causing me many difficulties in living. I knew I was doing something wrong, so I had the good will to find a new place to live. However, they did not give me time to handle personal matters," Ms. NP added.

In addition, Ms. NP also denied being evicted from the apartment for not paying rent. The owner of 19 dogs affirmed that her finances are not so bad that she has to go into debt.
“I don't raise dogs for business purposes, and I don't have any need to sell dogs. If anyone says I don't pay rent, please come over here and talk directly, I will show you all the documents for verification. The rent here is not cheap, if I don't have enough finances, how can I dare to rent and raise 19 dogs," she said.
The apartment management board also confirmed that there was an incident of furniture and 19 dogs in the apartment yard but did not share specific information.
