On the evening of February 7th, MU secured their fourth consecutive victory under interim manager Carrick, defeating Tottenham 2-0 and thus guaranteeing their place in the top four of the Premier League after matchday 25.
In his three previous matches as interim manager, Carrick led MU to important victories against Man City, Arsenal, and Fulham in the Premier League.
One of the highlights under Carrick's leadership is the consistency in his starting lineup. Before the clash with Tottenham, he continued to use the same lineup that had beaten Arsenal, the same lineup that had previously overcome Man City.
Thus, Carrick has used the same starting lineup twice in a row, something that rarely happened at MU under Amorim.

The only change that manager Carrick has made in the last four matches is bringing Matheus Cunha on to replace the injured Patrick Dorgu. Aside from this unavoidable adjustment, the 44-year-old strategist has placed his full trust in the familiar core of the team.
This consistency contrasts sharply with his predecessor, Amorim. In 47 Premier League matches while managing MU, the Portuguese coach only kept the same starting lineup for two consecutive games once, in the matches against Brighton and Nottingham Forest.
Following the 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest, Amorim continued to make personnel changes, bringing Harry Maguire, Patrick Dorgu, and Noussair Mazraoui back into the starting lineup, leaving Leny Yoro, Benjamin Sesko, and Diogo Dalot on the bench.
While it's still too early to draw conclusions, what manager Carrick is doing is very impressive, showing that MU is finding stability again after a period of turmoil.
