Anti-fraud "team" for high school and university students in Ho Chi Minh City.

(NLĐO) - Each school will establish a "360 Team," a core force in maintaining a channel for warning and disseminating knowledge on fraud prevention.

On August 28th, the Youth Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center, held the launch ceremony for the program "Tour 360: Safe Schools in the Digital Age".

The launch ceremony for the program “Tour 360: Safe Schools in the Digital Age” took place on August 28th at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine (Ho Chi Minh City).

The program will equip students with skills to prevent, identify, and handle fraudulent situations, verify information, and warn when detecting fraudulent behavior, aiming to build a safe and healthy school environment, minimize financial and personal information risks; and promote close cooperation between schools, authorities, the media, and organizations to form a sustainable fraud prevention network.

Mr. Le Nguyen Nam, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center, said that the program not only focuses on raising awareness and preventing fraud but also encourages students to become active advocates, working together to build a safe and civilized school environment, preventing fraud from infiltrating the lives of students.

"This is a meaningful activity, implemented with close coordination between authorities, organizations, and schools. Students not only protect themselves but can also join hands with their families, relatives, and friends in preventing fraud, contributing to building a safe and healthy school and community environment," Mr. Nam emphasized.

The program is a key component of the "Youth of the City Police Force: Taking the Lead" initiative, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of crime prevention and awareness campaigns in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program is expected to implement a series of activities with 30 themes through seminars, workshops, and creative interactive activities.

For university students, the program combines seminars, infographic exhibitions, minigames, situational musicals, and direct dialogues with experts from the Ho Chi Minh City Police, psychologists, and KOLs. For high school students, the activity takes the form of awareness campaigns during the weekly flag-raising ceremony, with direct Q&A sessions and discussions with experts.

Each school will establish a "360 Team," a core force in maintaining a warning information channel and disseminating knowledge on fraud prevention within the school community. The program is expected to run until December 2025 and will be implemented in high schools, universities, colleges, and academies throughout the city.
