Performing plays for soldiers.

On the evening of April 10th, at the Training and Mobile Battalion, the 1st Drama Troupe of the Army Drama Theater, in coordination with the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command, performed the play "The Beauty Queen Teaches Her Husband," for the officers and soldiers of the unit.

The opening cultural performances "stirred up" the spirits of the officers and soldiers before the main performance.

Hundreds of delegates, officers, and soldiers enthusiastically watched the program.

This was the first time a theatrical performance was held at the unit. The play "The Beauty Queen Teaches Her Husband" (written by the late People's Artist Doan Hoang Giang, directed by Meritorious Artist Ho Ngoc Ha and People's Artist Nguyen Tien Dung) won a Silver Medal at the 5th International Experimental Theatre Festival in 2022; an Outstanding Award at the China-ASEAN Theatre Week in 2023; and was performed for officers, soldiers, and people nationwide.

Taking the theme of finding a husband for the beautiful daughter, the play is deeply rooted in folk traditions, criticizing the ideology of "prioritizing the rich and neglecting the poor," promoting the spirit of learning and determination to improve oneself, and conveying the message of karma: "evil begets evil."

The meticulous preparation, elaborate staging, and professional performances of the cast provided moments of artistic enjoyment that were both entertaining and deeply meaningful, leaving a beautiful impression on the officers and soldiers.

Colonel Le Hoang Viet (Deputy Political Commissar of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard) presented flowers to thank the performing troupe.

This activity aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), contributing to ensuring the cultural and spiritual life of the soldiers.
