The police of Lao Cai city set up a working group to encourage and praise the police of the first 2 communes and wards to complete the collection and issuance of citizen identification cards (CCCD) for 100% of citizens eligible for CCCD issuance in the area, which are Coc San Commune Police and Nam Cuong Ward Police.
As of May 16, Coc San Commune Police has completed the collection of applications for issuing CCCD with chip for 5 citizens, reaching 3.789% of citizens in the age of CCCD issuance and eligible.
On May 23, Nam Cuong Ward Police also officially received dossiers and issued CCCD to 5/5.388 citizens, reaching the rate of 5.388%.
On behalf of the delegation, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Tuan Son, Head of the City Police praised and highly appreciated the contributions, dedication and creative ways of the Police force of Coc San commune and Nam Cuong ward in effectively implementing the issuance of CCCD and electronic identification for people.
Completing the chip-based CCCD is an important content to ensure that the national population database is connected and shared, contributing to the current digital transformation roadmap, effectively serving socio-economic tasks, and contributing to the process of national digital transformation in the area.
* In Si Ma Cai district, up to now, the police force has received 25.868/27.549 CCCD dossiers with chip and integrated electronic identification for citizens according to the guidance and direction of the Ministry of Public Security, reaching the rate of 93%.
In order to promptly encourage the typical collectives and individuals in the work of receiving dossiers and granting CCCDs, the Chairman of the District People's Committee Si Ma Cai presented Certificates of Merit to 9 individuals; The district police honored 1 collective and 13 individuals; at the same time, he asked the Director of the Provincial Public Security to award certificates of merit to 1 team and 4 outstanding individuals.
