This announcement quickly sparked a heated discussion on music forums.

Alongside the tour, G-Dragon confirmed that the group is in the process of completing a new album, marking Big Bang's official comeback after Still Life (2022). The 2026 global tour will be both a celebration and the start of a new chapter in the group's career.
Debuting in 2006, Big Bang became one of the representative groups of the second generation of K-Pop with a series of hit songs including *Lies*, *Haru Haru*, and *Last Farewell*. The group's most recent song was released in April 2022.
