After more than 1 month of operation, Binh Duc Ward has carried out urban renovation and upgraded more roads in Sao Mai residential area, which has received high consensus from the people.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Quan on Ly Cong Uan Street said: "In compliance with the policy of Binh Duc Ward, my family dismantled the fence to return the land for the locality to upgrade the road, making the urban appearance more beautiful". Mr. Tran Van Phu, living on Trieu Thi Trinh Street, said that after the merger, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward always pay attention to local socio -economic development activities. Previously, Thuc Phan Street was upgraded and renovated into a clean, beautiful green park, where people here enjoyed the infrastructure, had a place to exercise and play. In the past few days, the locality has been pouring stones to raise the road, and preparing asphalt, and people are very satisfied.

On a weekend afternoon, arriving at the Binh Duc Ward Public Administration Service Center, I could see the positive working atmosphere of the local government. The cadres, civil servants, and public employees basically met the requirements of the job well with enthusiasm, ready to serve the people. I met Ms. Nguyen Thi A (72 years old), who slowly walked into the center to do paperwork. The cadres and union members quickly invited Ms. A to sit at the table, then guided her through the next steps. Ms. A said: “Many times I came here to do paperwork, the cadres enthusiastically guided me. In less than half an hour, my paperwork was completed.”
Since July 1, after putting into operation the 2-level local government system, Binh Duc Ward Public Administration Service Center has received 1,098 records, of which 943 were received directly and 155 were received online; 1,019 records have been resolved, of which 1,006 were on time, the on-time resolution rate reached 98.72%. In general, after merging 3 administrative units, Binh Duc Ward has operated smoothly, effectively, efficiently, effectively, closer to the people, and more transparently.
In addition, since the new Binh Duc ward was put into operation, the arrangement of headquarters, facilities, means, and working equipment at the unit after the arrangement, as well as the management and exploitation of the surplus headquarters, have been carried out scientifically and effectively. Regarding the operation of the administrative apparatus, regulations are always followed, ensuring smooth provision of public services to people and businesses. However, the current arrangement area of the center is relatively narrow, the areas supporting people to submit online applications, and the information counter must be arranged outside, which does not meet the needs of people when the number of people suddenly increases.
Mr. Vo Van Hoa - Chairman of Binh Duc Ward People's Committee said that after more than 1 month of merger, although the headquarters has not met the actual situation, the Public Administration Service Center quickly caught up with the work. Officials, civil servants and public employees focused on implementing solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of operations to best meet the needs of handling administrative procedures of organizations and individuals; publicly and transparently posting 100% of administrative procedures according to regulations. Internal procedures and linkage procedures between the center and specialized departments were thoroughly understood and training for civil servants was ensured.
Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary of Binh Duc Ward Tran Thi Ngoc Diem affirmed that, besides the achieved results, after the merger, the ward encountered many difficulties, so it needs more attention from the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee. In the coming time, the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the ward will continue to arrange and consolidate the organizational apparatus towards streamlining, effective and efficient operation; strongly apply digital transformation in public administration, improve the operational efficiency of authorities at all levels. Build a digital government, a service government through promoting administrative reform and applying information technology in the operations of state agencies. In particular, focus on socio-economic development, strengthen administrative discipline, ensure political security, social order and care for social security so that the ward can develop more and more strongly and comprehensively.
