Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang (32 years old, Hanoi ) said that her family has started researching and booking tours for this year's summer vacation. According to Ms. Trang, booking early gives her family more choices in terms of destinations and airfare.

"This year we plan to go to the beach, maybe Nha Trang or Phu Quoc, since the kids have a long summer break. Booking early will make it easier to choose a suitable hotel and flight schedule," Ms. Trang shared.

According to many tourists, preparing early not only saves money but also avoids overcrowding during peak tourist season.

Sharing his views on this year's summer tourism landscape, Mr. Bui Thanh Tu - Marketing Director of BestPrice Travel Company - said that the market is showing quite positive signs as people's demand for travel remains high.

“The number of tourists searching for and booking tours has increased quite early, especially for beach destinations and short-day international tours. For domestic tourism, destinations such as Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Phu Yen, and Ha Long remain top choices in the summer because they suit the vacation needs of many families,” Mr. Tu said.

In the international market, Vietnamese tourists still prioritize nearby destinations such as China, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, and Thailand. These countries offer advantages in terms of short flight distances, convenient schedules, and reasonable costs.

According to Anh Tú, the cost of summer travel this year may be affected by many factors. However, many travel companies are proactively developing programs early and implementing promotional packages to limit price increases, thereby giving tourists more options to suit their budgets.

This year's travel trends show that tourists are increasingly prioritizing safety, affordability, and flexibility in their itineraries. Family vacations, experiential tours combined with relaxation, and customized travel packages are gaining popularity.

Anh Tú recommends: “ Tourists should plan and book services early to have more options regarding itineraries, flights, and hotels at reasonable prices. Monitoring information about destinations, airline conditions, and travel policies is also very important to make appropriate decisions.”
