Accordingly, the agency requires businesses to strictly comply with regulations on blending and supplying biofuels, ensuring a sufficient supply to meet consumption and production needs.
The agency requires businesses to absolutely ensure there is no disruption to the supply of biofuel throughout the entire system, from suppliers and distributors to retail gasoline stations.
Under all circumstances, units must ensure a sufficient supply of biofuel to retail outlets within the distribution system to maintain regular and continuous sales operations.
In addition, businesses need to proactively share supply and profits within the distribution system in a reasonable manner to ensure that the supply of biofuel to the market is not interrupted. Businesses also need to allocate sufficient personnel, organize on-call duty or overtime when necessary to maintain stable sales operations and meet the needs of people and businesses.
The Department of Domestic Market Management and Development also requested that key petroleum traders and distributors closely monitor the consumption of biofuels in the market. In case of difficulties or obstacles, they should promptly report them for consideration and resolution.
For businesses that have not yet reported or have reported incomplete lists of retail gasoline stations within their distribution system for updating on the "Around Me" application, the Department requests that they urgently complete and submit the reports before June 12th.
Previously, from June 1st, E10 gasoline was widely available nationwide, replacing RON 95 gasoline. In addition, E5 RON 92 gasoline will continue to be produced and supplied until the end of 2030.
After four days of mandatory nationwide implementation, the country consumed approximately 151 million liters of gasoline. This includes 141.5 million liters of E10 gasoline and 9.5 million liters of E5 gasoline. Thus, the average daily consumption was about 35.4 million liters of E10 gasoline and 2.4 million liters of E5 gasoline. The average daily gasoline consumption nationwide before June 1st was 32 million liters.
