Participating in the Command-level competition, there were 11 contestants who went through 3 parts: Knowledge (in the form of multiple-choice tests on a computer with testing software), lesson planning practice and lecture practice.
For the lecture practice exam, candidates practice lecturing from one to two contents in the prepared lecture at the request of the Jury. After the lecture, the jury will raise a pedagogical situation for the candidate to handle and may ask additional questions to clarify the contents of the lecture. During the lecture, candidates apply appropriate teaching methods, in which the use of projectors is required. The jury encourages the use of documents, diagrams, models, pictures, video tapes and documentaries related to the lecture content to illustrate the lecture.
Speaking at the opening of the contest, Colonel Pham Van Hieu emphasized: The Political Teaching Officer Contest at the High Command level is a place for candidates to continue to express and assert themselves, as well as a forum for all learners improve knowledge, exchange experiences, share skills and work skills. Through the contest, it helps Party committees and commanders at all levels to properly assess the true capacity and qualifications of political teaching staff in agencies and units, thereby having guidelines and measures to lead and direct. , fostering, training to improve the comprehensive quality of political teaching staff in the coming time. The success of the practical contest contributes to the continued effective implementation of the project on reforming political education at the unit in the current period.
The results of the contest will create a new change in awareness and responsibility, improve the qualifications, capacity, methods and behavior of the political teaching staff in the High Command; contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of political education, meeting better and better the requirements of the unit's tasks in the new situation.
On the basis of the results of the contest, the Organizing Committee selected typical candidates representing the political teaching staff of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command to participate in the contest of political teaching cadres at high school level. the whole army will take place in the near future.
