To enhance the effectiveness of heritage education, Le Thi Cam Le Secondary School (Bac Lieu ward) has recently organized many cultural heritage experience tourism programs for its students. Students directly participate in raking salt alongside the farmers, helping them to appreciate the traditional profession, the salt workers, and fostering pride in this national intangible cultural heritage.

To foster in the younger generation a love and pride for the traditional cultural identity of the nation, the Provincial Museum has implemented the " Heritage Education " program, creating enriching learning spaces for students in the province. The program's goal is not only to equip students with knowledge but also to provide them with enjoyable experiences through a visual and vivid approach to understanding and appreciating the value of cultural heritage.
In the trend of digitizing heritage, heritage education activities at the Provincial Museum are increasingly focusing on applying technology and digital platforms to enhance the connection between young people and traditional culture. The integration of multimedia, screen search, QR code scanning, and virtual reality technology has provided students with new and engaging spaces for exploring national cultural heritage.
Ms. Phan Ngoc Mai, a tour guide at the Provincial Museum, shared: “ We implement ‘Heritage Education’ programs to create open, vibrant learning environments for the community, especially young people. Along with the knowledge taught in the high school curriculum, students are exposed to artifacts through technology, listen to historical and cultural stories, and experience the value of heritage in a more vivid and engaging way. Exploring heritage in this new way helps them understand it more deeply, thereby fostering love for their homeland and national cultural pride naturally.”
The Ca Mau Provincial Museum is displaying documents and images on the theme "Ca Mau: A place that preserves the historical imprint and cultural identity of the South" at Vo Nguyen Giap Secondary School (An Trach commune).
Besides investing resources and focusing on training museum staff, the most effective solution for preserving and promoting heritage values is to raise community awareness and responsibility towards heritage. And education on heritage protection contributes to shaping the next generation, spreading the vitality of Ca Mau's cultural heritage in contemporary life.
