In 1994, after graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Thuy became a controller of the pharmaceutical factory preparation team at An Giang Pharmaceutical Company. With her outstanding capacity, from 2004 to 2006, she was a member of the Board of Directors and Manager of the pharmaceutical factory of An Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Taking on the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2020 to present, in charge of enterprises (DN) manufacturing and trading pharmaceuticals, health protection foods, cosmetics, medical equipment... Ms. Bich Thuy has steered the Agimexpharm ship to provide quality products, contributing to caring for, protecting and improving people's health.

As a leader, she is always proactive, creative, daring to think, daring to do, ready to take responsibility, managing and operating the company to overcome difficulties, applying measures to practice savings; accumulating finance, managing production, improving quality, improving designs, expanding the market, leading the company to excellently complete its production and business tasks. The results of revenue, profit and budget payment targets for the following year are higher than the previous year.

In 2024, the company will achieve revenue of 799 billion VND, an increase of 9.7% compared to 2023, an increase of 61.4% compared to 4 years before 2020; pay the state budget more than 11.5 billion VND; create jobs for nearly 500 employees with an average income of 10.3 million VND/person/month. Notably, for 10 consecutive years, the company has had products awarded the title of "High-quality Vietnamese goods"; "Enterprise for workers". In 2024, Agimexpharm was honored to be one of 18 enterprises nationwide to receive the title of "Vietnamese Medicine Star". Ms. Thuy and the enterprise have received many certificates of merit and emulation flags from the Provincial People's Committee, and have been recognized as outstanding entrepreneurs.

Ms. Thuy shared: “To stay ahead of the world's sustainable development trends, I have included in the long-term strategy the orientations of international integration, green growth and circular economy , gender equality, supplier diversity; research cooperation, technology transfer with foreign partners, and export market expansion. At the same time, investing in international standard waste treatment systems, reusing resources, saving energy, and developing green areas in all factories. The solar energy system helps reduce electricity costs by 7 billion VND/year, reduce carbon emissions, and protect the environment...”.
