Golden rose of pharmaceutical industry

In 1994, after graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Thuy worked as a supervisor in the pharmaceutical compounding team at An Giang Pharmaceutical Company. With outstanding capabilities, from 2004 to 2006, she served as a member of the Board of Directors and the Pharmaceutical Factory Manager of An Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Since assuming the role of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors from 2020 to the present, overseeing the company's production and trading of pharmaceuticals, health supplements, cosmetics, medical equipment, etc., Ms. Bich Thuy has steered Agimexpharm to provide quality products, contributing to the care, protection, and improvement of people's health.

As the leader, she was always dynamic, creative, and daring, ready to take responsibility. She managed and operated the company through difficulties, applying cost-saving measures; accumulating finances, managing production, improving quality, innovating designs, expanding the market, and leading the company to excellently fulfill its production and business objectives. As a result, revenue, profit, and tax contributions to the state budget were higher each year than the previous year.

In 2024, the company achieved revenue of VND 799 billion, a 9.7% increase compared to 2023 and a 61.4% increase compared to 2020; contributed over VND 11.5 billion to the state budget; and provided employment for nearly 500 workers with an average income of VND 10.3 million per person per month. Notably, for 10 consecutive years, the company has had products awarded the title of "High-Quality Vietnamese Goods" and "Enterprise for Workers". In 2024, Agimexpharm was honored to be one of 18 enterprises nationwide to receive the title of "Vietnamese Pharmaceutical Star". Ms. Thuy and the company have received numerous commendations and emulation flags from the Provincial People's Committee and have been recognized as outstanding entrepreneurs.

Ms. Thuy shared: “Anticipating the global trend of sustainable development, I have incorporated into my long-term strategy orientations of international integration, green growth and circular economy , gender equality, supplier diversification; research cooperation and technology transfer with foreign partners, and expansion of export markets. At the same time, we have invested in a waste treatment system that meets international standards, reused resources, reduced energy consumption, and developed green spaces at all factories. The solar energy system helps reduce electricity costs by 7 billion VND/year, reduces carbon emissions, and protects the environment...”.
