In 2025, BSR recorded positive business results amidst a volatile market. Production reached nearly 7.94 million tons, reflecting the stable operation and optimized capacity of the Dung Quat Refinery.
Given the volatile profit margins in oil refining and the increasingly fierce competition, this result is all the more significant. Financially, BSR's consolidated total revenue reached over 143.5 trillion VND, exceeding the target by more than 25%. It contributed nearly 15 trillion VND to the state budget, exceeding the target by more than 13%, further affirming its role as a crucial source of revenue for the state budget.
According to aggregated data, there are currently 14 enterprises with revenue exceeding 1% of Vietnam's GDP, including 9 state-owned enterprises, 4 private enterprises, and 1 international joint venture. These are the "leading" enterprises, having a strong ripple effect on growth, budget revenue, and market stability. Petrovietnam leads with consolidated revenue of approximately VND 651,000 billion, equivalent to 5.1% of GDP, followed by EVN with approximately VND 645,000 billion, accounting for nearly 5% of GDP.
