According to runner-up Hoang Thi Nhung, the title of first runner-up in Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 was her dream. This title is something she is extremely proud of and cherishes.

"I always kept that idea in mind, striving to fulfill my dream. More than a year later, what I wrote has come true. This title is something I am very proud of and cherish. As the first runner-up, I will have more time to participate in the organization's charitable activities and expand my community project for orphaned children, which I have been working on for many years, to help even more children."

Alongside that, I want to develop my career successfully, create jobs for workers, and contribute to the development of society. These are my life goals. Therefore, for me, reaching the Top 2 of a prestigious competition like Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 is incredibly happy; any ranking is wonderful, representing a beautiful and glorious period of my youth," shared Hoang Thi Nhung, First Runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam 2023.

Referring to Bui Thi Xuan Hanh - the newly crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, Hoang Thi Nhung commented that her junior is a hardworking, strong-willed, and eager-to-learn girl with profound thinking and a sincere personality.

"If I were on the judging panel, I would also choose her (Bui Thi Xuan Hanh) as Miss Vietnam. She may not be the most outstanding girl among the Top 38 contestants, but she embodies the harmonious blend of qualities a true beauty queen should possess. She's like a diamond that needs time to be polished to shine even brighter. From the preliminary rounds to the end of the journey, I've observed that Hanh is always a hardworking, strong-willed girl who is eager to learn and absorbs everything quickly with profound thinking. Her personality is very honest and genuine," the first runner-up expressed.

The beauty queen, born in 1996, affirmed: "In the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 competition, I always considered Hanh to be the only rival I needed to be wary of. The final result was completely deserved. I hope that people will have a more objective and forgiving view after my sharing."

Previously, Bui Thi Xuan Hanh, who had just been crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, received mixed reactions from the beauty pageant community. Besides congratulations on Xuan Hanh's victory, many felt her performance in the final was unconvincing. In fact, numerous "anti-Bui Thi Hanh" groups were quickly formed on Facebook, with their membership growing steadily. One such group, dedicated to the new Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, reached over 1,900 members immediately after the final concluded.
