Bui Vi Hao (born in 2003, residing in Phu Tan district) specializes in playing as a winger. He possesses a height of 1.8m and a fast, skillful playing style with impressive finishing ability. Sharing his football career story, Bui Vi Hao said that at the age of 12, when the An Giang Football Center came to Phu Tan district to recruit athletes, his family boldly allowed him to register and he was selected.
Even at a young age, Vi Hao had a strong passion for football, displaying innate talent. After 7 years of training at the An Giang Football Center, Bui Vi Hao made his debut in the national U.19 tournament. The An Giang U.19 team created a surprise by reaching the semi-finals, only to be eliminated by the eventual champions, the PVF U.19 team. It was also at this tournament that Vi Hao caught the attention of Becamex Binh Duong . He quickly adapted and scored a goal in the V-League 2022. In the 2023-2024 season, he became a key player for the team, playing in 25 out of 26 matches and scoring 5 goals. Thanks to this, he won the Best Young Player award in the V.League.

Bui Vi Hao previously played for the Vietnam U.20 team (2021-2023) and the Vietnam U.23 team (from 2022 to present). In 2023, he was called up to the Vietnam national team by coach Philippe Troussier. At the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024, Bui Vi Hao was selected as a starter by coach Kim Sang-sik in the matches against Laos, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Singapore (first leg), contributing one goal against Myanmar. Vi Hao said: "During training, the whole team always reminds each other to try our best and be determined for each match, to fight with 200% effort on the field. My goal is to give my best for the club, to train hard and play well in the V.League to earn a starting spot for the national team, and to bring glory to Vietnam.”
During the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025, Bui Vi Hao returned to his hometown after winning the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024 with his teammates. Vi Hao felt happy to be welcomed by the local people and to have gained more recognition. “I would like to thank the fans for their support for myself, my teammates, and the national team. At the same time, I thank my family and loved ones for always being by my side and encouraging me to achieve good results. I will always try my best to play and contribute for the colors of my club and the national team,” Vi Hao added.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed their hope that Bui Vi Hao would continue to strive harder, always playing with passion and the spirit of Vietnam, gradually conquering new heights, affirming the position of Vietnamese football, and bringing glory to Vietnam in general and An Giang province in particular.
