Singer Dat G is planning to marry Cindy Lu.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Singer Dat G confirms he will marry Cindy Lu (Bao Ngoc) after many ups and downs in their relationship.

Speaking to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper on the evening of February 17th, Dat G affirmed that this is a step to demonstrate the strong bond between him and Cindy Lu. Their relationship is supported by their families. However, the couple has not yet decided on a specific wedding date, as they need to consult with their parents.

Previously, in a talk show aired on February 14th, Dat G also shared his plans to marry Cindy Lu, but he hasn't announced an official date yet because he's still discussing it with both families.

The singer, born in 1995, said: "I will definitely marry this person. As for the wedding date, I have to inform my family first, and when I have specific information, I will let everyone know."

Regarding having children together, Dat G revealed that he has discussed it with Cindy Lu and plans to wait until her children from a previous relationship – Gà and Cún – finish primary school before considering adding a new member to the family.

"When Gà and Cún are older, I'll feel confident enough to have another baby," he shared.

The relationship between Dat G and Cindy Lu has faced numerous challenges. The couple publicly declared their love in 2021, but after only a few months, they broke up. In November 2023, Dat G confirmed they had gotten back together. At that time, he shared intimate photos with Cindy Lu and her two children from a previous relationship.

For over a year, Dat G and Cindy Lu have frequently shown their affection for each other. Dat G not only takes care of Cindy Lu but also looks after her children from a previous relationship, accompanying them in their studies and daily lives. Cindy Lu also admitted to worrying that Dat G might be at a disadvantage by being with a woman who had gone through a divorce and had children from a previous relationship. However, Dat G dismissed all those concerns and affirmed that she and his children are his greatest joy.

Bao Ngoc (born in 1996) is the niece of Meritorious Artist Bao Quoc and the younger sister of actor Gia Bao. She was with Hoai Lam for nearly 10 years and has two daughters, but the couple parted ways in June 2020.

Dat G (real name Nguyen Tan Dat, born in 1995) rose to prominence in 2018 with his hit song "Buon khong anh" (Are You Sad? ) and continued to gain attention with "Ve" (Come Back) (2019), a song that went viral after the Vietnamese national team's victory at the Asian Cup.
