Singer Tuan Hung recently released the music video "Double the Love" to celebrate his 10th wedding anniversary. What's special is that the singer invited his beautiful wife Thu Huong and their three children to appear naturally and adorably in the heartwarming moments filmed on a beach in Phu Quoc.
Singer Tuan Hung has just released the music video "Double the Love".
Tuan Hung is a unique case in Vietnamese showbiz, always yearning for his first-time releases to become hit songs. For over 20 years, Tuan Hung's playlist has consistently featured timeless hits that have resonated with generations of 70s, 80s, 90s, and even 2000s kids, who still enjoy and sing them, such as: "Finding the Sky Again," "Still Remembering," "Where to Find," "Monologue," "The Incomplete Rainbow," "We Have to Break Up," "Hold My Hand," and many more.
The song sounds like it's written about the love story of my husband and me.
Speaking about his latest song, "Double the Love," Tuan Hung said he didn't know what fate had in store for him, but one beautiful morning he unexpectedly called Ha Anh, initially intending to jokingly ask if she had any new songs she could send him to check out.
After a brief conversation, later that afternoon, the younger artist replied that he had just finished writing a new song, recorded it in his studio, and sent it to Tuan Hung to listen to.
"When I received the recording of the song from singer-songwriter Ha Anh, I was surprised because the song seemed to be about my and my wife's love story. I immediately told Ha Anh to schedule a time for me to record the song as soon as possible and plan to shoot a music video."
"The original title of the song was 'Double,' but I asked the author for permission to change it to 'Double Love,' and they agreed," singer Tuan Hung shared.

The male singer said that his musical life has had moments that came naturally and left him with many emotions. There were times when he thought that to achieve those moments of exhilaration, he had to go through extremely difficult, stressful, and exhausting times. But when he persevered and didn't give up, good fortune would come, and then all the light of music and the stage would shine again, and his passion would burn brightly once more.
And if "Hold My Hand," composed by musician Tú Dưa as a gift to Tuấn Hưng when the singer got married, is considered a matter of destiny, then 10 years later, "Double the Love," by singer-songwriter Hà Anh, with its relatable yet loving lyrics about a man humbling himself to apologize and make amends for the hurt inflicted on the woman he loves, promises to create a breakthrough for Tuấn Hưng himself.
"I don't understand why I'm so lucky either. When choosing songs, the first thing I care about is that they must suit my personality and mood so that I can sing them well. For years, I've just been singing from the heart without thinking about whether people will appreciate my singing or not."
"I feel incredibly lucky to have been given songs by songwriters that are practically tailor-made for me and at the right time. Thank you to Khac Viet, Tu Dua, and now Ha Anh," Tuan Hung confided.
When filming the music video for "Hold My Hand" - a hit song that once topped the music charts - Tuan Hung had intended to invite Thu Huong to star alongside him, but his wife was pregnant at the time.
My wife was always by my side, not saying much, just observing.
Therefore, for this new music video, the singer boldly invited his wife to star alongside him, and since it was a gift to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, his wife couldn't refuse.

Tuan Hung himself wrote the script for the new music video and discussed it with director Quoc Khanh. Although he acted alongside his wife, he limited the intimate scenes that went beyond acceptable limits.
The singer's wife usually does product advertising photoshoots, but she was a little nervous when she first appeared in her husband's music video. "I encouraged, reassured, and guided her on the parts she needed to act out to make her feel as comfortable as possible," Tuan Hung revealed.
Many people comment that Tuan Hung is very indulgent and flattering towards his wife. The singer jokingly says that you could say he's the most loving and henpecked husband in showbiz because all men have, at least a few times in their lives, had to find ways to flatter their wives. The important thing is to do things that make the woman you love, the one who stands by your side in life, trust you more and bring you more joy and happiness.
Tuan Hung said that love is always a two-way resonance. He loves his wife, and she reciprocates his love by skillfully managing her business, taking good care of their children, and especially showing concern for his parents.
For Tuan Hung, his wife is always by his side, not saying much but observing how his mood and attitude change so that she can adapt and help handle any situations or incidents that arise.
"I'm so grateful my wife has never complained like, 'You're making a loss on a show and you're still doing it?' or 'Do you really need to invest so much money in a music video?'"
"And indeed, when I lost hundreds of millions of dong on shows and spent even more on music videos, she just encouraged me, saying, 'Money can be earned back. Right now, if you need to make a mark in your career, just do it. I'll always support you,'" Tuan Hung expressed.
Sharing about the song "Double the Love," singer-songwriter Ha Anh said: "Since I was a child, Tuan Hung has been my number one idol, so I almost know all of his songs by heart, even absorbing his pronunciation and intonation. Thanks to that, I wrote this new song very quickly. When I showed it to him, we quickly agreed on a suitable arrangement and tempo. We meticulously planned the derivative versions that differ from the original."
Singer-songwriter Ha Anh has recently emerged as one of the young songwriters with many hit songs loved by young people. Specifically, three of his recent songs reached Top 1 Trending on YouTube Vietnam: "The Most Beautiful Flower," "Awkward Apology" performed by singer Quan AP (the latter even helped Quan AP win a MAMA award in South Korea in 2021), and "Wherever Your Car Goes, I'll Follow" performed by Duong Hoang Yen.
