She achieved a perfect 10 in Mathematics and Chemistry, a 9 in Literature, and a 9.5 in Physics. Considering the university entrance exam combinations, Nguyen Khac Cong, a 12th-grade student from Tan Yen No. 1 High School in Bac Ninh province (formerly Bac Giang), is the only candidate to achieve perfect scores of 10 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, becoming the top scorer in the A00 combination. The male student stated that his goal is to study Information Technology at the University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Hanoi). The B00 subject combination has four valedictorians who achieved a perfect score of 30/30. Dinh Ngoc Hai Lam, a student in class 12B2 at Le Thanh Tong Primary, Secondary, and High School (Ho Chi Minh City), is one of them. Besides three perfect scores of 10 in Math, Chemistry, and Biology, she also scored 7.25 in Literature, possesses an IELTS certificate with a score of 7.5, and a SAT score of 1390/1600. Hai Lam plans to apply for the Medical program at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Ho Chi Minh City. Although her family doesn't have a tradition of working in the medical field, her parents have always supported her in pursuing this path. |

Nguyen Le Yen Nhi, a student in class 12B4 from the same high school as Hai Lam, also achieved perfect scores of 10 in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. Speaking to Tri Thuc - Znews , the student shared that a year ago she transferred schools and changed her university entrance exam combination from A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) to B00 (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology) to pursue a medical degree. Nhi plans to apply to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, hoping to become a doctor to help people. |

Also in Ho Chi Minh City, Tran Quang Thang, a 12th-grade student specializing in Biology at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, is a co-valedictorian of the B00 subject combination. Previously, in 10th grade, Thang won a silver medal at the April 30th Olympic competition. In 11th grade, he won a gold medal at the same competition. Furthermore, in 12th grade, Thang won second prize in the national excellent student competition in Biology, achieved a perfect score of 20/20 in the Casio Biology exam for 12th graders, and was directly admitted to the Biology Education program at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. This is also the field Thang plans to pursue for the next four years of university. |

Dak Lak province also has a top scorer in the B00 subject combination, Huynh Diem My, a student from Nguyen Cong Tru No. 1 High School. My's homeroom teacher said that the student is the class deputy for academics and is always among the top students in the school. Throughout her three years of high school, My consistently achieved the title of outstanding student with an overall GPA above 9 in all subjects. She also won second prize in the provincial-level Biology competition for gifted students. Among them is Hoang Huong Giang, a student from class 12 Math 1 at the High School for Gifted Students affiliated with Hanoi University of Education. She scored 9.75 in Math, 10 in Physics, and 10 in English. Before the high school graduation exam, she had already achieved a perfect score of 1600/1600 on the SAT and an 8.0 on the IELTS. Giang also received a full scholarship to the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) – a top university in South Korea. This is where she plans to study in the near future. |

Another top scorer in the A01 subject combination comes from Hung Yen province. That's Hoang Quang Minh, a 12th-grade student from An Thi High School. He achieved perfect scores in both Mathematics and Physics, and 9.75 in English. Throughout his studies, Minh consistently achieved high results in provincial-level student competitions, winning second prize in Informatics in 10th grade, second prize in Physics in 11th grade, and third prize in Mathematics in 12th grade. In addition, Minh was among the top 3 nationwide in the second round of the TSA (Test of Skills Assessment) and has an IELTS score of 8.0. He plans to enroll in the Computer Science program at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. |

Nguyen Xuan Tue Minh, a student in the specialized English class at the High School for Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), is one of two top scorers in the D01 subject combination in 2026 with 29 points. She achieved perfect scores of 10 in both Mathematics and English, and 9 in Literature. Prior to this, she had already achieved a SAT score of 1580, an IELTS score of 8.0, and received an acceptance letter from a top 10 university worldwide. Minh is considering whether to study at a domestic university or abroad, but regardless of where she chooses to study, she intends to pursue a degree in Economics and Finance. |

That is Nguyen Thanh Binh (born in 2006), a former student of Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted (Dak Lak), currently a second-year student majoring in International Commercial Law at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. Binh scored 9.25 in Literature, 9.5 in History, and 10 in Geography, for a total of 28.75/30 points. The male student said he decided to take the exam again to apply for the Geography Education major at Hanoi University of Education with the desire to pursue a double degree. |
