On July 2nd, the Ngo Quyen Ward Investment and Construction Project Management Board, in coordination with relevant units, began demolishing two old apartment blocks, A7 and A8 Van My, to facilitate land clearance for the Investment and Construction Project of Technical Infrastructure in the Van My and 311 Da Nang apartment complex areas.
Two severely dilapidated apartment buildings were identified as requiring urgent relocation following the impact of Typhoon Yagi in 2024. The People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District (now Ngo Quyen Ward) completed the relocation of the belongings of all 303 households in the two apartment buildings A7 and A8 to new residences, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations; simultaneously, they completed the preparation, public disclosure, and approval of the compensation and support plan for the households.
The People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward requests that agencies, units, and residents in the surrounding area strictly comply with the instructions of the functional forces, refrain from entering the construction area, and adhere to the designated boundaries and signage system to ensure safety throughout the demolition process.
