Hanoi FC's match in round 12 today is an opportunity for Hanoi Police FC to debut Nguyen Quang Hai - a new signing who is expected to be a crucial piece in helping them compete for the V-League 2023 championship.

CAHN's signing of Quang Hai is considered a "blockbuster" of the 2023 V-League mid-season transfer window. The 26-year-old midfielder becomes the 15th player who has previously played for the Vietnamese national team or U23 team to join the league's newly promoted club, increasing their professional strength in addition to the media attention.

Quang Hai also has an invisible connection with CAHN, as his adoptive father, Vu Minh Hoang, is the younger brother of former national team player Vu Minh Hieu – an icon of police football from 1990-2005. Sharing a creative playing style in midfield, Quang Hai is seen as the key to solving CAHN's weaknesses in the race for the championship.

Following his debut on the afternoon of June 23rd, Quang Hai had his first training session with the entire team that same day. Due to the short acclimatization period, CAHN left open the possibility of Hai playing in the match against Ha Tinh this afternoon, June 24th, at Hang Day Stadium in Round 12 of the V-League 2023. However, his impressive performance, exceeding expectations in the friendly matches with the Vietnamese national team, may give coach Flavio Luiz a different perspective on Quang Hai's adaptation to the new playing style.

The presence of many national team players at CAHN is an advantage for Quang Hai. He can come on as a substitute when the team has secured a winning score, without affecting the team that has won four of its last five matches and scored 15 goals.

However, Ha Tinh has all the elements to be a spoiler on Quang Hai's debut day. Fourth place in the V-League is a surprising result for coach Nguyen Thanh Cong's team, giving them a strong chance of finishing in the top eight for the championship. Ha Tinh is dangerous on the counter-attack, in addition to set pieces, thanks to their three foreign players Janclesio, Jose Pinto, and Diallo Abdoulaye, who are excellent in aerial duels.

It's no coincidence that Ha Tinh is considered a phenomenon with their disruptive playing style and never-give-up spirit. They only narrowly lost to Hanoi FC, suffered a last-minute defeat against Thanh Hoa, drew with Viettel , and won against both Hai Phong and Binh Dinh. These good results encourage coach Thanh Cong and his players to earn points when they travel to Hang Day Stadium to face CAHN - the team with the strongest attack in the league, having scored 25 goals since the beginning of the season.

Playing at the same time as the CAHN - Ha Tinh match, Hai Phong will host bottom-placed Da Nang, who are desperate for points, at Lach Tray Stadium. Meanwhile, at 6:00 PM at Thien Truong Stadium, Nam Dinh will showcase their new attacking lineup with the goal of defeating league leaders Thanh Hoa.
