Investment analysis

Asean Securities (Aseansc) : Despite short-term corrections, the market continued its positive trading session, recording its third consecutive day of gains accompanied by improved liquidity.

However, Aseansc believes that the VN-Index is likely to remain in a sideways consolidation trend due to a lack of upward momentum.

In the next few trading sessions, the market may experience significant volatility as it approaches the long-term MA200 trendline. Therefore, Aseansc recommends that investors maintain a moderate portfolio allocation, avoid chasing prices, and take advantage of these fluctuations to restructure their portfolios.

Yuanta Securities : The market may continue its upward trend on November 23rd, and the VN-Index could still test the 50-day moving average. At the same time, the market is still in a period of strong positive volatility, so the VN-Index may soon surpass the 50-day moving average, especially with capital flows mainly concentrated in mid-cap and small-cap stocks.

The short-term trend of the overall market remains upward. Therefore, Yuanta recommends that short-term investors can continue to maintain a high proportion of stocks in their portfolios.

East Asia Securities (DAS) : The VN-Index is currently above the 1,100-point support level, maintaining its medium-term upward channel since recovering from the bottom. With stable demand, it could return to the 1,160 level in the coming sessions.

However, the current market is highly volatile, with intermittent corrections within trading sessions. Short-term investors should avoid chasing prices and establish reasonable profit-taking levels. Meanwhile, medium-term investors can consider increasing their positions in real estate, industrial park, and public investment-related stocks such as infrastructure construction and building materials.

- The Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to propose revising the retail electricity pricing structure for household consumption from 6 tiers down to 5 tiers, with the highest tier being over 3,600 VND/kWh.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade believes that the redesigned electricity pricing for each tier ensures minimal impact on electricity users. Furthermore, the advantage of this approach is its simplicity and ease of understanding for the public, as it reduces the current six-tiered pricing structure to five .
