TPO - A fire broke out at a household goods stall at Thanh Da market (Binh Thanh district, Ho Chi Minh City) and then spread, causing severe damage to many properties.

On March 18, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Ho Chi Minh City Police is coordinating with relevant units to investigate the fire at Thanh Da market (Binh Thanh district) that caused a lot of property damage.

Initial information, at around 10 pm on March 17, people discovered a fire at a household goods stall in Thanh Da market (Ward 22, Binh Thanh District), so they shouted and mobilized many fire extinguishers to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.

Encountering flammable materials, the fire spread widely and flared up fiercely, causing panic among the people. Upon receiving the news, PC07 mobilized many vehicles along with officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire, prevent it from spreading, and search for trapped people.

By 11pm the fire was under control. The fire did not cause any human casualties but damaged the property of some small traders, the exact amount of money burned is not yet estimated.
