On March 30th, this duo brilliantly won the Vietnam International Challenge 2025 ( Hanoi ). This is Vietnam's first men's doubles title at this prestigious tournament with a 25-year history. To win, Hoang and Manh overcame the qualifying rounds, defeating the 3rd seed Tori Aizawa and Daisuke Sano (round 1), and then went on to beat the 4th seed Kazuki Shibata and Naoki Yamada (Japan) in a tense final match (21-19, 15-21, 21-15). This is not only a personal success for the two players but also a significant milestone for Vietnamese badminton on the international stage.

Born in 2003 in Lam Dong province , Dinh Hoang and Dinh Manh have trained together since childhood. In the same recruitment group that year, many young players had to drop out for various reasons, but this duo persevered in pursuing their passion in Da Lat city. Gradually, both proved themselves and became outstanding badminton players for the Lam Dong team.
After a period of competing under the Lam Dong province banner, in 2014, both were called up to the Vietnamese national youth team and continued to support each other in a new and challenging environment. Under the dedicated guidance of their coaches, Dinh Hoang and Dinh Manh constantly improved, especially in the men's doubles event. A year later, they officially donned the Vietnamese national team jersey, beginning their journey to compete and represent Vietnam in international competitions.
In 2020, Dinh Hoang and Dinh Manh began to gain attention after winning the gold medal at the National Outstanding Tennis Players Tournament. Since then, they have continuously demonstrated their talent, surpassing many senior players to reach the number one position in Vietnamese men's doubles in 2024. This success is the result of the persistent training of the two young players. In particular, Dinh Manh, in addition to the medals he won with Dinh Hoang, also won many medals in singles.
With their victory at the Vietnam International Challenge 2025, Dinh Hoang and Dinh Manh not only affirmed their number one position domestically but also opened up opportunities for further progress on the international stage. On the BWF men's doubles rankings, the pair are currently ranked 139th, having previously been ranked 115th. They are expected to become pillars of Vietnamese badminton, bringing home many more titles in the men's doubles category in the future.
