Strong Party committees lead to local development.

The experience of 2025 shows that the comprehensive, in-depth, and substantive implementation of Party building work is the decisive foundation for the Chau Phong commune Party committee to successfully complete its political tasks and create room for development.

Staying strong in this pivotal year.

2025 is a particularly pivotal year for Chau Phong commune as it officially implements a two-tiered local government model. The new organizational structure, higher operational demands, and greater workload present numerous challenges for leadership, especially in maintaining organizational stability, cadre morale, and public support. In this context, the commune's Party Committee has fostered a spirit of unity and cohesion, leading to the achievement and exceeding of 16 out of 17 resolution targets. The total value of the commune's products reached over 790 billion VND; budget revenue exceeded 201 billion VND, reaching 138% of the resolution target; and average per capita income reached 78.9 million VND per year.

The economic structure has shifted positively, and agriculture has developed stably with 97% of the area dedicated to high-quality rice cultivation and a 100% mechanization rate. Many models applying science and technology have yielded clear results, contributing to increased production value and income for the people. Evaluating the achievements, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune - emphasized: “After the merger, the requirement for grassroots Party organizations is to quickly stabilize the organization, improve leadership capacity, and create consensus among the people. When the apparatus operates smoothly, and officials are close to the people and involved in the work, then the resolutions will truly be put into practice.”

The spirit of Party building closely linked with the people is also clearly demonstrated through the effectiveness of the government's administration. In 2025, the Commune's Public Administrative Service Center resolved 98.6% of applications correctly and ahead of schedule; digital transformation work was rated excellent, ranking 6th out of 20 in the entire province. The commune currently has 35 grassroots Party organizations with 802 Party members. Inspection and supervision work has been strengthened, inspecting 7 Party organizations and 234 Party members, promptly correcting shortcomings, contributing to maintaining discipline and order within the Party. These comprehensive results show that the leadership capacity of the Chau Phong Commune Party Committee has been affirmed, creating an important foundation for the next stage of development.

Party building is key.

“We focus on improving the substance of Party branch activities and emphasizing the role of the leader. Resolutions must be clear about tasks, responsibilities, and timelines, avoiding formalism and creating substantive changes in Party building work,” shared Mr. Pham Thanh Dien, Head of the Party Building Committee of Chau Phong Commune Party Committee. Mass mobilization work continues to be identified as an important bridge between the Party and the people, especially in hamlets with large ethnic minority and religious populations. Chau Phong promotes the role of religious leaders and influential figures among the Cham Muslim community, linking economic development with preserving cultural identity and strengthening national unity.

Mr. Jacky, Head of the Representative Board of the Cham Islam Muslim Community in An Giang province, affirmed: “The attention and support of the local Party committee and government have created strong confidence among the Cham people. They always trust in the leadership of the Party, abide by the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, actively participate in emulation movements, and work with the locality to maintain political stability for development.”

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Minh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chau Phong commune, linking Party building with improving the effectiveness of state management helps the government operate smoothly and serve the people better. Administrative reform and digital transformation must aim at the practical benefits of the people and businesses. With the results achieved in 2025, the Chau Phong commune Party Committee has excellently completed its assigned political tasks. On that foundation, the locality enters 2026 with the goal of 10% growth, an average income of 86.27 million VND/person/year, admitting 24 new Party members, and continuing to improve the quality of Party branch activities and the effectiveness of government administration.

Building a strong Party from the grassroots level, closely connected with the people, for the people, and relying on the people, is the foundation for Chau Phong to maintain stability, create social consensus, and achieve sustainable development in the coming period.
