Carroll argued with his girlfriend during a vacation in Greece.

According to The Sun , Carroll was accused of behaving inappropriately during the first argument at the Nikolus Tavern restaurant. A staff member there said: "We immediately recognised him as Andy Carroll, the footballer. He appeared to be drunk and very angry with his girlfriend. He used bad words and behaved very inappropriately. The girl looked very upset."

The police arrived and took Carroll outside to talk. He was then allowed to return to Lou.

“After speaking to the police, he was allowed to return and the couple left after paying for their meal. Andy was very calm when the police arrived. He stood up and spoke to them outside the restaurant,” said a restaurant employee.

However, just hours later, police were called to the hotel after staff reported damage to the couple's room. Staff said Carroll was taken to the police station for questioning. He was not arrested and no legal action was taken.

A hotel employee confirmed the incident: "Yes, they were here. He broke the door." After the incident, Lou left the hotel and stayed at the Soho Roc House, a private celebrity club. The next day, Carroll was seen sitting pensively by the pool at the SantAnna beach club.

Carroll became a free agent after leaving Bordeaux.

Another witness said: "Andy was not drinking and was sitting alone." A source in Mykonos added: "After the incident at the restaurant, there was another incident at the hotel. This time the footballer had to go to the police station. We know that the woman was elsewhere that night."

A British tourist who encountered the couple while walking said: "We walked past them, and they were clearly having a heated argument. The man, who we later realised was Andy Carroll, appeared to be very drunk and was shouting at her: 'I'm bored'."

The couple then boarded a flight back to Gatwick on 13 June. The witness said: "Andy continued to be angry as they spoke. At one point she appeared to be blaming him for going out with two other girls on holiday."

Notably, Lou only shared one photo from their trip to Mykonos, a seascape with no one in sight. However, the couple appear to have resolved their differences, with the latest images showing them spending time together with Lou's dad over Father's Day over the weekend.

Carroll split from his ex-wife Billi Mucklow in September last year. Andy and Lou went public with their relationship just weeks later. They moved to France when he joined Bordeaux in the fourth tier. Carroll has now announced he is leaving the club to be closer to his children. As well as his three children with Billi, he has two from a previous relationship.
