Amad Diallo played hard but couldn't help MU win the championship.

The 22-year-old winger played the full 90 minutes in the match in Bilbao. Brennan Johnson's solitary goal sealed a disastrous season for the "Red Devils," leaving them empty-handed in all competitions, teetering on the brink of relegation in the Premier League, and failing to qualify for European competition next season.

On X , Diallo wrote: "First of all, I congratulate Tottenham on their victory, and I apologize to all Manchester fans around the world . This has been an unacceptable season. No one can deny that. But we always fight with all our passion on the pitch."

"I promise you that we will never have another bad season like this at this great club. Thank you for always supporting us, no matter what," the Ivorian star concluded.

Diallo's candid remarks received support from fans. One fan commented: "You're brave for speaking up." Another wrote: "Love you, Amad. You'll be a superstar in the future." Many encouraging messages such as: "Hold your head high, brother" and "You're a rare bright spot this season" appeared under the post.

Meanwhile, Manchester United's management is reportedly planning to put the entire squad on the transfer market to avoid a financial crisis. However, the squad's value has plummeted, with a staggering £407 million evaporating after a disastrous season.
