Attending the program at the Hanoi venue was Politburo member and President Luong Cuong. Also present were Politburo members: Standing Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Secretary of the Central Committee and Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; and Minister of National Defense - General Phan Van Giang.

At the Ho Chi Minh City venue, the attendees included Politburo members: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Central Committee Secretary and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Trong Nghia; and Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen. Also present were Central Committee Secretary and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Minh Tri; and Central Committee member and Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh.
Attending from three different locations were members of the Central Committee of the Party; leaders of central committees, ministries, departments, and mass organizations; leaders of several provinces and centrally-administered cities; veterans, former youth volunteers, officials, Party members, and the general public. In addition, millions of viewers watched live on television and digital platforms.

The televised program "Golden Opportunity" took place at three significant locations: the Hanoi Flagpole - one of the symbols of national independence; Ngo Mon Square (Hue) - a place connecting the past and present; and Nha Rong Wharf (Ho Chi Minh City) - where President Ho Chi Minh departed to seek a path to save the Vietnamese nation.
Inspired by President Ho Chi Minh's poem "Learning to Play Chess"—simple yet powerful verses about the art of seizing opportunities—the televised program "Golden Opportunity" brings viewers back to historical moments, allowing them to feel the spirit of "Opportunities must be created by people" and continue the aspiration to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
The program takes viewers through three chapters. Chapter I, "We Must Look Broadly and Think Carefully," transports viewers back to the historic August days, allowing them to feel the fervent atmosphere as the entire nation rose up. The vivid scenes in this section highlight how the Party and President Ho Chi Minh foresight seized the "golden opportunity," ushering in an era of independence, freedom, and socialist construction.
In Chapter 2, "Resolutely Unceasing the Offensive," the audience is guided through 80 years of history, from the nine-year Dien Bien Phu campaign and the historic spring of national reunification to the brilliant period of reform. Each step represents an instance where our nation transformed challenges into opportunities, creating chances with its own hands and heart.
Chapter 3, "Certain Success," reveals a Vietnam of today, standing before a new "Golden Opportunity," an era of development, prosperity, and strength. Everyone can contribute to this brilliant future. It is a call to action, to rise up, and to continue writing their own story, the story of their nation.

The meticulously staged historical reenactments make viewers feel as if they are present in the revolutionary capital of Tan Trao, or amidst the bustling streets of Hanoi, Hue, Saigon-Chợ Lớn-Gia Định. 3D mapping technology and a multi-dimensional stage transform the Hanoi Flagpole, Ngo Mon Square, and Nha Rong Wharf into spaces that are both ancient and modern.
