The boost from the "national concert"

The special political and artistic program "Echoes of the Homeland," held on the evening of April 28th at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi), is the opening event of the "Proud to be Vietnamese" series in 2026.

With an audience of approximately 40,000, over 2,000 artists and performers, and the participation of the armed forces, the program is elaborately staged and utilizes modern technology. "Echoes of the Fatherland" is expected to become a prominent cultural and artistic highlight, spreading the image of a united, resilient, and ever-evolving Vietnam.

The program's noteworthy aspect lies not only in its scale but also in its innovative approach to organization and creativity. "Echoes of the Homeland" is structured as a multi-layered artistic epic, where music , stage, visuals, and technology blend to tell the nation's story. The gathering of multiple generations of artists, from seasoned veterans to popular young talents, along with the segmented content specifically geared towards youth, demonstrates an effort to bring historical and traditional values closer to today's audience.

Beyond the seriousness and grandeur of a political commentary program, the staging of "Echoes of the Fatherland" clearly reflects the trend of industrializing cultural products. This is precisely the direction that the cultural sector is gradually shaping: transforming large-scale artistic programs into branded products with competitiveness and sustainable development potential.

Following the success of the "national concert" model that made its mark in 2025, "Echoes of the Fatherland" can be seen as evidence of the concretization of the Politburo's and Hanoi Party Committee's policies and resolutions on cultural development and the building of the cultural industry, especially Action Program No. 08-CTr/TU dated March 17, 2026, of the Hanoi Party Committee's Standing Committee implementing Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW dated January 7, 2026, of the Politburo on the development of Vietnamese culture. When culture is placed in its rightful position – both as a spiritual foundation and a resource for development – programs like this not only awaken pride in being Vietnamese but also create momentum to promote socio-economic development. This is also a way for culture to truly become an intrinsic strength, accompanying the country in the new era of development.
