Study hard and do good deeds.

On behalf of all the team members in the province, Dinh Nguyen An Quan (Le Hong Phong Secondary School, Quy Nhon City) and Huynh Thanh Truc (Dong Da Secondary School, Quy Nhon City) reported on the outstanding results of the campaign "Binh Dinh Children Compete to Study Well and Train Diligently".

Specifically, over the past two school years, 355 youth teams and 3,985 sub-teams with more than 220,000 children throughout the province have been educated about the historical traditions of their homeland, the Party, the Youth Union, and the Children's Union, as well as the cultural values and fine traditions of the Vietnamese people and nation, through many rich activities such as: meeting historical witnesses, lighting candles to honor heroic martyrs, caring for and supporting heroic Vietnamese mothers, 325 historical storytelling competitions, art performances, visiting and learning about revolutionary relics, and journeys to historical sites.

The members also actively participated in programs and movements launched and implemented by the Youth Union Councils at all levels and the Youth Union branches, such as: Showing gratitude, Remembering the source of water, A thousand good deeds... Particularly noteworthy is the "Binh Dinh Children Compete to Do Well the Five Teachings of Uncle Ho" campaign with practical and exemplary projects and activities: The "Piggy Bank - Helping Friends Go to School" movement saved over 3 billion VND to help provide transportation to school and support study corners, helping friends study well; building 15 "Red Scarf" houses…

Besides fundraising, the Thousand Good Deeds movement is also a highlight because, year after year, the number of "flowers" in the Thousand Good Deeds Garden increases; there are even members who receive the "Brave Youth" badge from the Central Youth Union.

As one of the outstanding young Pioneers honored at the provincial level this time, Le Van Phat (from the Pioneer Team of Tang Bat Ho Secondary School, Hoai An District) is extremely proud. A year ago, while passing by the Bau Dung ecological lake area (Tang Bat Ho town), Phat spotted someone drowning. Without hesitation, he immediately jumped in and saved the victim's life.

"I think anyone in that situation would do the same! For me, doing good doesn't require anything grand; it just means thinking of others, doing small things for the small, just as President Ho Chi Minh taught," Phat humbly shared.

Not only are they diligent in doing good deeds, but the youth members throughout the province are also actively training and studying with many vibrant movements such as: "Learning diligently - Exams seriously"; "Excellent grades"; "Improving handwriting, cultivating good character"; participating in competitions such as: Young Informatics, Youth and Children's Creativity, "Journey of Loving Science" , STEM Experience Day… both in person and online.

Over the past two school years, the province has had 2 members awarded the Kim Dong Prize, 3 members awarded the title of Excellent Team Leader at the central level, 21 members awarded the title of Excellent Team Leader at the provincial level, and 15,837 members honored with the title of Good Children of Uncle Ho at various levels.

Mr. Le Anh Quan - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Central Youth Union's Children's Affairs Department, Vice President of the Central Children's Council, and Director of the Vietnam Children's Support and Development Center - presented 200 gifts to delegates of the "Good Children of Uncle Ho" program. Working together to nurture young talents.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phong Vu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, praised the efforts of the Young Pioneers and children in their studies, training, and participation in the Young Pioneer activities. She emphasized that the 200 Young Pioneers honored today are shining examples of overcoming difficulties to excel in their studies; many have achieved high academic results, are active in emulation movements, and are young talents in many fields.

Acknowledging the children's growth and maturity, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phong Vu requested that Party committees, government agencies, mass organizations, schools, and parents continue to pay attention to and create a healthy and safe educational environment, focusing on protecting children in cyberspace; increase investment in facilities, playgrounds, and appropriate educational content; and at the same time, cultivate revolutionary ideals and faith in the bright future of the country for today's young generation.

“Uncle Ho had a great affection for children, considering them the future masters of the country. I hope that you will continue to strive in your studies and training, diligently follow Uncle Ho’s five teachings, and always be good children, excellent students, good Young Pioneers, and good children of Uncle Ho,” Mrs. Nguyen Thi Phong Vu affectionately advised.

According to Huynh Thi Thanh Nguyet, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Provincial Children's Council: With the motto "giving the best to children," the Children's Council at all levels has carried out many timely support activities, especially for students in difficult circumstances. Over the past two school years, the province has distributed more than 15,830 gifts and promoted coordinated programs, creating a richer environment for children's activities and training. This is the most practical way to support members in continuing to study well and train diligently.
