(HNMO) - At around 7:55 a.m. on May 23, a fire broke out at the warehouse of Den Lu wholesale market on Tan Mai street, Hoang Mai district ( Hanoi ).
Initial information, the fire broke out from the fruit warehouse and quickly spread around.
At the time of the fire, the fire spread to a warehouse storing foam mattresses, causing smoke and fire to rise high. In addition, the fire scene was a large area, combined with strong winds, causing the fire to flare up fiercely, spreading to 2 surrounding houses, causing black smoke to rise high.
Upon receiving the news, Hoang Mai District Police dispatched 3 vehicles and dozens of soldiers. Hai Ba Trung and Thanh Xuan District Police also quickly mobilized vehicles to assist in firefighting.
As of 9am the same day, the fire was controlled and extinguished. Initial information shows that the fire did not cause any human casualties.
Currently, authorities are working to extinguish the fire, prevent it from spreading and investigate the cause of the incident.
