Two houses near Binh Trung market caught fire.

On January 11th, authorities were investigating the cause and extent of the damage from a fire that destroyed two houses in an alley off Nguyen Duy Trinh Street (Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

Earlier, at around 7:30 a.m. on the same day, residents discovered a fierce fire breaking out in a house in an alley off Nguyen Duy Trinh Street (behind Binh Trung Market) and raised the alarm.

People used portable fire extinguishers and water to put out the fire while simultaneously notifying the authorities.

The fire flared up intensely and quickly spread to another house.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PC07, Ho Chi Minh City Police) dispatched dozens of officers and soldiers along with several fire trucks to the scene, coordinating with the Binh Trung Ward Police to extinguish the fire.

By 9 a.m. the same day, the fire was brought under control.

The fire did not cause any casualties, but much of the property inside the house was destroyed or damaged.
