At 5:53 AM on May 19th, a major fire broke out at Nexus Foam Solution Co., Ltd., which was renting a factory from Tam Duong Import-Export Joint Stock Company in Duy Phien commune, Tam Duong district.

The area where the fire occurred was a four-story factory building, each floor measuring 3,200 square meters. At the time of the fire, the area contained a large quantity of goods, causing the flames to spread rapidly and intensely.

Upon receiving the fire alarm, the Fire and Rescue Police force of the Provincial Police quickly dispatched 1 command vehicle, 18 fire trucks, 3 tanker trucks, 1 ladder truck, 5 fire pumps, and 130 officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinating with local authorities to extinguish the fire with water cannons.

By 8 a.m., authorities were still fighting the fire and implementing measures to prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas and minimize damage.

Initially, the fire reported that three workers suffered burns and were taken to the nearest medical center for treatment. There are no specific figures yet on the area affected by the fire or the extent of property damage.

Nexus Foam Solution Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in the production and processing of various types of shoe soles for export. The company is renting a factory from Tam Duong Import-Export Joint Stock Company to operate its production line. The consequences of the fire will directly affect revenue, jobs, and the income of its employees.

Currently, the police are continuing to gather evidence and investigate the cause of the fire.
