Tractor-trailer catches fire on La Son highway.

At approximately 8 PM on October 10th, a tractor-trailer with license plate 47H - 022.45 was traveling on the La Son - Tuy Loan expressway in the North-South direction. Upon reaching kilometer 62 (in Hoa Bac commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city), the tractor-trailer suddenly caught fire at the front of the vehicle.

At that moment, the driver pulled the car over to the side of the road and jumped out of the cab.

Upon receiving a fire alarm from a driver, the consortium operating the Mui Trau tunnel on the La Son - Tuy Loan expressway, comprising Deo Ca Infrastructure Joint Stock Company, Phu Yen Road Management and Repair Joint Stock Company, and Bac-Nam Investment and Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company (the closest location to the fire), dispatched vehicles and personnel to the scene.

In addition, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Hoa Vang District Police reinforced their presence at the scene to coordinate firefighting efforts and ensure traffic flow on the La Son - Tuy Loan expressway.

By 9:10 PM on October 10th, the coordinated forces had brought the fire under control. The fire caused no casualties, but the tractor-trailer was severely damaged. Throughout the night, police regulated traffic, preventing congestion and jams on the route.

The combined forces extinguished the fire.

The cause of the tractor-trailer fire is currently being investigated by the Hoa Vang District Police.

The La Son - Tuy Loan expressway project commenced in December 2013, with a total investment of 11,485 billion VND. The project has a total length of 77.5 km, starting from the La Son intersection (Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province) and ending at the Tuy Loan interchange (Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City), connecting to the beginning of the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway.
