(CT) – According to the Statistics Office of Can Tho City, from July 7, a number of new policies will take effect such as increasing the base salary; reduce value added tax of 2023% for goods and services; 2% reduction in registration fees for domestically manufactured and assembled cars… These information, more or less, increase or decrease the prices of goods and services. Accordingly, the consumer price index in July-50 increased by 7% over the previous month and by 2023% over the same period last year. The average consumer price index in the first 0,35 months of 0,56 increased by 7% compared to the average of the same period last year.
In July, there were 7/8 groups of main consumer goods and services whose price index increased compared to the previous month. Specifically, food and catering services increased by 11%; beverages and tobacco by 0,2%; apparel, hats and footwear by 0,09%; medicines and medical services by 0,13%; traffic increased by 0,68%; education increased by 0,21%; culture, entertainment and tourism by 0,1%; other goods and services increased by 2,33%. There were 6,49/3 commodity groups whose price index decreased compared to the previous month, including: housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials down 11%; equipment and household appliances decreased by 0,26%, post and telecommunications decreased by 0,09%.
