The European Business Association in Vietnam (EuroCham) has just announced a change in senior personnel.
Accordingly, Mr. Dominik Meichle succeeds the position of Mr. Gabor Fluit, who has just been appointed CEO of De Heus Animal Nutrition Group. Previously, in 2022, Mr. Dominik Meichle became the youngest CEO of Bosch Vietnam.

Up to now, EuroCham's Board of Directors in 2024 includes 17 members, gathering business leaders from major fields across Vietnam. This is a combination of both continuity and novelty to promote the Association's policy advocacy for a leading investment environment, bringing benefits to European companies and localities in Vietnam. According to the plan, EuroCham is establishing a program for 2024, focusing on strengthening policy advocacy and expanding environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) initiatives.
It is expected that in 2024 this unit will organize about 90 meetings with Vietnamese authorities and send 200 letters based on detailed information from the annual White Book. EuroCham is proactively enhancing its advocacy efforts in 2024.
This includes expanding the Association's presence in Vietnam's provinces and cities to increase member participation and identify new business opportunities. An important part of this strategy is the expansion of the Association in Central Vietnam, headquartered in Da Nang, restarted in 2023. In addition to policy advocacy, EuroCham is devoting focus to ESG principles and sustainability. This includes key initiatives designed to increase awareness and understanding of key EU regulations. A specialized EuroCham working group will lead these initiatives, promote collaboration between business associations and lead capacity-building efforts for both EuroCham members and Vietnamese companies.
