The book "Into the Realm of Mystery," translated by Sen Xanh, published by The World Publishing House.

But it's rare for a child to say they ran away from home to... seek enlightenment.

The young boy faced many hardships, although later on his path to enlightenment, he met Mother Teresa in Calcutta, conversed with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Pope Benedict...

That young boy would later become known to the world as Tenzin Priyadarshi Rinpoche. His extraordinary journey in search of enlightenment will be recounted in *On the Hidden Realm *.

Dreams lead people astray.

Once upon a time... no... nowadays. In modern-day India, a baby boy was born into a prestigious Brahmin family.

Although he didn't live in the royal palace like a prince, Tenzin still enjoyed a much more comfortable life than many of his peers. Furthermore, he received attentive care and intellectual support from his family. His life's path seemed to promise smooth sailing leading to success, according to the prevailing worldly view.

But somewhere, there was a deep, resonant calling. A calling in his dreams. Since Tenzin was six years old, a monk in a sunset-colored robe had always entered his dreams.

In that dream, there was also a mysterious mountain peak. Since then, that peak has reigned supreme in the mind of the young Brahmin, the one whom destiny has guided to walk the path that Siddhartha Gautama once walked—the path to enlightenment.

One ordinary day when he was 10 years old, Tenzin decided to run away from home, taking the train and then the bus. He set off. To find the shadow of Vulture Peak, to chase after the illusion that appeared in his dreams. He embarked on a journey that was both enduring and resolute, like someone whose faith had been tested.

When the bus carrying the runaway 10-year-old boy stopped, a monastery appeared before him. It was a place that felt incredibly familiar, for it was the temple that often appeared in his dreams.

With a light heart, Tenzin faced his first challenges on his path to liberation. However, it wasn't easy for a 10-year-old boy to decide his own fate. First, Tenzin had to convince his family.

Step by step, the lotus flower blooms.

All of the above is just the beginning of a series of fascinating events in the life of the monk Tenzin Priyadarshi Rinpoche in *On the Mysterious Realm *. That mysterious realm is not a place of strangeness, full of miracles or supernatural occurrences.

That mysterious realm is the human heart. It remains an inexplicable, boundless place. Mysterious like our everyday lives, where coincidences constantly occur that can only be explained by the word "fate."

The boy Tenzin was found and brought back by his family. In the days that followed, he had to convince his parents and relatives to protect his faith.

He had to face threats and ridicule. All of this was merely an initial test to hone his skills. The path of spiritual practice was still long and arduous ahead.

Tenzin Priyadarshi Rinpoche wrote *On the Hidden Realm* a time long before the time of Buddha.

Buddhism has spread throughout the world. In books, we can encounter many monks, learn about Buddhist traditions, and confront the problems of the modern world.

But even as times change, core values like compassion remain the only "magical power" that Buddhists carry with them on their path of practice.

Tenzin Priyadarshi Rinpoche's writing style is humble and gentle. His stories themselves evoke many associations. Within that stream of associations, Tenzin Priyadarshi Rinpoche's work is both closed and open.

Readers will remember many literary works with Buddhist themes. And then, more than 2,000 years later, in a Brahmin family, another "young eagle" leaves the nest and flies "to the mysterious realm" on the path to enlightenment.

The journey of Sudhana is recorded in the "Entering the Dharma Realm" (Gandavyuha), the 39th section of the famous Buddhist scripture, the Avatamsaka Sutra. Later, the Korean poet Ko Un fictionalized it in his work *Every Step Blooms* .
