In December 2025, the Party Committee of Ia Hiao commune held a conference to summarize the thematic campaign of mobilizing people to donate land and structures to expand rural roads. This is one of the five important breakthroughs identified in the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Accordingly, 197 households from 7 villages and hamlets in the commune participated in donating land and structures with a total area of approximately 37,214 m², with an estimated total value of over 4.1 billion VND.

The family of Mr. Nguyen Van Nham (90 years old) and Mrs. Tong Thi Min (91 years old) in Binh Trang village (Ia Hiao commune) voluntarily dismantled their B40 mesh fence and donated the land in front of their house to expand the rural road from 3 meters to 7 meters.

"We people are very happy when the government builds roads; we are very willing to have wide, clean roads, because for many years, the narrow dirt roads have made travel difficult!" - Mr. Nham shared.

Ms. Ksor H'Hoa, head of Chu Knong village, is one of the pioneers who donated 500 square meters of rice paddy land and 30 meters of B40 mesh fence. Ms. H'Hoa said: "The widened road not only makes daily life more convenient but also makes transporting agricultural products easier. I regret losing my rice paddy land, but donating it to have a wider, better road will lead to a brighter future. Moreover, if I do it, the villagers will follow!"

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, by the end of 2025, Ia Hiao commune will have 22 rural roads that have been invested in, expanded, concreted, reinforced, and had drainage ditches built, gradually overcoming the long-standing flooding and deterioration problems…

According to Mr. Pham Van Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Ia Hiao commune, the decision to mobilize people to donate land and structures to widen the road was made based on local realities.

"This is a strategic direction aimed at proactively creating resources for infrastructure investment and addressing shortcomings in rural transportation. Based on this, Party committees and organizations at all levels will clearly define tasks and roadmaps to successfully implement the resolution for the 2025-2030 term," Mr. Phuong stated.

In To Tung commune, the locality has chosen to invest in restoring traditional festivals and developing community tourism associated with distinctive agricultural products. This is a breakthrough area that the commune's Party Committee has concretized into a specialized resolution immediately after the first Party Congress, term 2025-2030, building upon the achievements of the previous term.

The village of Mơ Hra - Đáp (Tơ Tung commune) has been selected by the province as a community tourism development site with a total investment of 14.5 billion VND. Of this, 11 billion VND is allocated to infrastructure investment and cultural restoration; 3.5 billion VND focuses on tourism training and the restoration of traditional crafts such as basket weaving and textile weaving – core values that define the local identity.

Currently, the appearance of Mơ Hra - Đáp village is gradually changing. New concrete roads run through lush green sugarcane fields, traditional communal houses are being restored and renovated alongside the cultural center and traditional product display area. The village space both preserves the distinctive cultural features of the Bana people and has a modern feel, creating a sense of peace yet full of vitality.

Thanks to the focus on preserving cultural identity, community-based tourism products are beginning to take shape, attracting tourists. Ms. Dinh Thi Benh, a resident of Mo Hra-Dap village, said: "The village is much more beautiful now than before. When tourists come to visit, the villagers are very happy, and everyone is conscious of cleaning their houses and planting more flowers to make the village cleaner and more beautiful."

Mr. Ha Cao Giang, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of To Tung commune, said: "The congress resolution has clearly identified key, breakthrough tasks. Based on the resolution, we have reviewed and examined each task, concretizing them through movements and activities associated with each village, ensuring implementation in the right direction and in accordance with reality."

Currently, commune and ward Party committees are simultaneously organizing the dissemination and implementation of action programs to carry out resolutions at all levels; guiding grassroots Party organizations to develop plans that are relevant to the local situation.

Mr. Truong Trung Tuyen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ya Hoi commune, affirmed: A resolution is only truly valuable when implemented through concrete actions. When a resolution is placed in the right place, at the right time, and with the determination of the entire political system, it will become a reality, clear, practical, and sustainable.
